Overview
5-minute stop-motion short (released April 11, 2025, Dutch title 'Cel Maatjes') about a raccoon and manatee sharing a jail cell who bond during a chaotic escape. Co-directed by Hidde Alberts, Jurgen de Smit, Miguel Reyes, Arjen van der Plas and Melle Windig, together forming the collective Studio Brute Beesten. made during a 3rd-year Stop-Motion Animation minor at St. Joost School of Art & Design (Den Bosch, Netherlands). Went on to 150+ international festival selections and 25+ awards per Dutch Design Daily/Indy Film Library. StopTrik 2026: Young Audience Award, ages 9-11.
