How this map worksWhat the marks and controls mean.
  • Every dot in the overview is a person. A blue work title sits beside the densest visible group of its credited people.
  • Network means one connected component of the currently visible people. People filters recalculate these networks.
  • Smaller networks have no recorded shared-credit path to the largest network yet. This can reflect incomplete data.
  • Choose a work title to highlight its visible crew; choose a person to locate them before opening their connections.
  • Gather visible creates one temporary pull at the exact centre of the current screen. Only people already inside the frame move, the camera stays fixed, and dots repel instead of overlapping. Repeat it to pull the same view farther without forcing a grid.
  • Connected core keeps people that can reach the filtered map's largest centre through the links currently drawn on screen. Other line-disconnected people are removed as noise.
  • Links stay hidden by default. Hover a person to see their repeated collaborations; close views may show faint links.
  • Add two or more people to find everyone who worked with all of them.
  • Steps out controls connection distance. Min shared works keeps repeated collaborations.
  • Country filters use each person's separately recorded country attributes; multiple attributes are kept separately.
