Overview

90-minute animated feature in production, written and directed by Upamanyu Bhattacharyya (debut feature). Set in Ahmedabad, 1960. hand-drawn 2D combined with stop-motion embroidery - about 15 minutes (7,000 frames) animated with physically embroidered fabric stitched by craftswomen working with the SEWA co-op. Produced by Arya A. Menon and Shubham Karna (Odd & Even) with Fabian Driehorst (Fabian&Fred). NFDC co-production. French co-producer Condor Films with CNC Aide aux Cinemas du Monde (Variety, 2026).
