Official Aardman and Pokemon press releases confirm 2027 collaboration. Director: Tom Parkinson (confirmed at Aardman Annecy 2026 panel, June 21 2026). Story set in Galar region (UK-inspired Pokemon world). Phil Rynda (Director of Original Animation, The Pokemon Company International) and Aardman CCO Sarah Cox presented never-before-seen pilot footage at Annecy.
