Directed by Mochi Lin (original title 燕南飛). an emotionally personal stop-motion short based on the director's mother's experience at a Beijing boarding preschool during the Cultural Revolution, set Spring 1976. Screened at Osaka Asian Film Festival 2023. characters have 3D bodies with 2D faces painted and UV-printed onto acrylic (Osaka Asian Film Festival 2023. Asian Movie Pulse).
