Dragonframe 2025 adds dynamic X-Sheet, expanded motion control and colour 3D-print support

Dragonframe 2025, the latest major release of the industry-standard stop-motion capture platform, ships a dynamic X-Sheet that auto-updates as exposures are captured: frame count, audio phoneme positions, camera-move cues and scene length all refresh in real time, so the exposure sheet and the actual shoot are always in sync without manual transcription. Animators can sketch motion paths and add text reminders directly in the sheet panel, and the completed sheet is printable for at-set reference. The release also adds expanded motion-control tools, including new backlash-rollback algorithms for indexed axes and a jogpad mode, and broadens camera support with new manufacturer bodies. The durable craft implication: the X-Sheet, once a paper form that lived beside the set, is now a live digital record of the shoot, tying timing charts directly to captured frames and to the replacement-face-system trays that Dragonframe can also display per-frame.
