Dragonframe 2026.07.1 adds Canon EOS C50/R100/R6 V and Sony A7 V support, DMX sACN

Dragonframe's current release, 2026.07.1, extends the software's bounded camera-support list with four new tethered bodies -- Canon EOS C50, EOS R100 and EOS R6 Mark V, and Sony's A7 V -- continuing the incremental, name-by-name approach the software has always taken to camera compatibility rather than a generic driver model. The build also adds DMX lighting improvements (a 'Merge Inherited Channels' option and support for the sACN network lighting protocol, letting Dragonframe's timeline drive lighting fixtures over Ethernet instead of a physical DMX512 cable run) plus timeline-thumbnail and reference-movie caching performance fixes. It follows the 2026.01.1 release earlier in the year, which added the software's first panoramic-camera support (Insta360 X3/X4/X5, Ricoh Theta X/Z1) with spherical live-view.
