PFCAT and Frame Fest bring dozens of stop-motion selections to late-August 2026 festival calendar

Two U.S. festivals with substantial stop-motion programming land in the second half of August 2026: the Portland Festival of Cinema, Animation & Technology (PFCAT, Aug 18-23) lists more than 170 films from 31 countries including two stop-motion features and 30+ other stop-motion works, plus a free Creator Expo on Aug 22 where attendees can meet stop-motion artists and see original puppets and production materials; Frame Fest (Aug 29-30) presents a dedicated Best Stop-Motion Short award.
