LAIKA released the first full trailer for Wildwood, Travis Knight's stop-motion adaptation of Colin Meloy's novel, ahead of its October 23, 2026 US theatrical release. Separately, the Portland Festival of Cinema, Animation & Technology (Aug 18-23) ran an expanded 2026 lineup with 30+ stop-motion works including two features -- Memory Hotel (Heinrich Sabl's 25-years-in-the-making US premiere) and The Lure of Ponies: A Spellbound Attic Mystery (Beck Underwood) -- plus a dedicated LAIKA artist panel and a puppet-animation panel drawing on Robot Chicken, Wendell & Wild and The Tiny Chef Show credits. Cross-checked against the catalogue: Wildwood, Memory Hotel and The Lure of Ponies were all already catalogued; Memory Hotel's credits were thin and were enriched from festival/press coverage today.
