Ottawa 2026 marks 50th edition with von Bahr short in competition

The Ottawa International Animation Festival announced its 2026 selections for its 50th-anniversary edition (September 23-27, 2026, ~200+ films). Niki Lindroth von Bahr's stop-motion short The End (Sweden/France/Denmark), already catalogued with full credits, is in the shorts competition. Separately, Portland's PFCAT festival (Aug 18-23, 2026) ran a 30+ film stop-motion slate including Heinrich Sabl's Memory Hotel, already catalogued.
