MOTK Companion publishes a reproducible full software verification gate

MOTK Companion's public beta now includes one reproducible verification command for its complete non-hardware software surface. Twenty-one test groups cover local pairing and origin security, safe production folders, Media Job cutting, encoding, resumable upload, assembly, playout, Kdenlive project generation, project-scoped control, Google Sheets integration, Cloudflare retry and isolation, and the common camera-adapter contract. A separate Windows package test installs and launches the bundled app, updates it while running, rejects tampering, preserves settings, pairing and jobs, and verifies both data-retaining and full-removal uninstall paths.

The same update publishes a capability matrix that keeps software evidence separate from physical-camera claims. SIGMA fp preview, settings and native still transfer retain their recorded real-hardware verification. gPhoto2 remains model-and-OS specific, while the current Windows digiCamControl route for Canon, Nikon and Sony is clearly labeled capture-only experimental until live view, settings and an exact camera model have physical acceptance. This prevents an automated PASS from being mistaken for universal hardware support.
