Animation Magazine's Annecy interview adds production context for Stefano Bertelli's handmade paper stop-motion feature. 2026-08 update (Cartoon Brew, Animation World Network): Bertelli and set designer/co-animator Riccardo Orlandi describe the film's low-poly paper geometry, animated frame by frame with stepper motors and manual rigs; an airplane-crash sequence uses a custom rotating armature for a tumbling effect, and small sensor-triggered explosive charges drive some in-set physical reactions. The two-person crew shot the roughly 70-minute feature over about five to six months.
